I've had a mild case of Backne for probably two yrs. nothing to really stress about . Up until last weak I started getting a tiny cluster of bumps on my shoulder. They don't irritate me unless I scratch , then they itch . I had great skin and never thought get acne but now it's appearing in my face . Is this puberty haunting me?! Any advice ?
If you didnt go throught puberty yet this is prob a sign and what i would do is just rub stuff that helps with acne on your back or you can look for things online that help that specific area

Washing your body after you wash and condition your hair should get rid of any oils that might have gotten on your back. Also, consider switching your body wash to one that has salicylic acid in it to help combat any bacteria that could cause acne.I'm also about to be turning 16 and experienced bacne, but this really works
If you have the time for it, try soaking in saltwater. I've had bacne for years and it's been just terrible. This summer, I started pouring sea salt in the bathtub and soaking in it, and my back immediately cleared up. Salt kills bacteria, so it prevents clogged pores from becoming infected. If you want a cheap, natural solution, you can give this a try!
(PS to save water, I close up the drain while I shower and reuse that water. It would be a terrible waste to shower and take a bath every day!)

Try Neutragena's Body Clear Pink Grape Fruit body wash I too had this problem and I have been using this for about a month and after the 1st couple days it just seemed to disappear (: also it has a reallly nice smell which is a plus :D
You can use non whiteing tooth paste and sleep with it . it will dry out the acne and bring the gunk out . It also leaves a very smooth skin surface . Hope this helped . Stay beautiful . -Emilyy .

Mikaela is right about washing body last in the shower. I'm a Esthetician and have body acne. I control it by following that rule, washing immediately after I begin to sweat to prevent clogged pores, cleanse back, chest and upper arms with Acne Free acne cleanser (Benzoyl Peroxide) and my exfoliating gloves found at the dollar tree or my large body brush. I used the neautragena acne body wash briefly but its too harsh and irritating and didn't control very well for me. I also put a few drops of tea tree oil in a small spritz bottle and spray on acne prone areas after I shower and swipe on tea tree oil if I know I'm going to be sweating. Goodluck! =)
I have the same problem in the summer time, I'm sure it has something to do with sweating more in the summer. But I just get a brush with a long handle (usually at the dollar store) and use St. Ives scrub on my bad and it does pretty well.
I started having the same problem last summer. As mentioned above, washing your body last when taking a shower will help get rid of any conditioner used on your hair that might have gotten on your back. If your hair is long, try to keep your hair from touching your back when you can (like when you're home). The natural oils on your hair as well as any hair products can cause your pores on your back to get clogged, leading to breakouts. The same goes for your face, so try to keep your hair out of your face when you can. When I started breaking out on my back I discovered Tea Tree Oil. It's a natural antiseptic that works great on acne and it did the job for me! I use the 100% pure Tea Tree Oil from Holista (found at walmart), they also sell a 20% one which would be better for you if you have sensitive skin. I put the oil on my back after my shower using a cotton pad, and I do the same to my face. After that, I use a moisturizer. You can also try using an exfoliator at least once a week. :) http://www.holista.com/products/ite...
Hey u. i know what you going through. The benzec AC5 face wash helped me so much!! The key is to use a products that conains Benzoyl peroxide. why? because benzoyl peroxide is an antiseptic, an anti inflammotory and it lightens acne marks. it is proven to be one of the most effective treatments for acne. The first few days you might experience very dry skin or a slight rash but that goes away and so will your acne. My sister just started using the Benzac Ac5 face wash (she applies tissue oil in the evening and a spf 50 sunscreen in the day) theres already huge difference
