Here's what I'm packing. I'm taking one carry on bag and one tote.
In my carry on are my clothes for Friday, Friday evening (going out to dinner with friend), Saturday, Saturday evening (going to a social after IMATS), Sunday and Monday. Also taking two pairs of yoga pants and tank tops to sleep in. Obviously a change of undergarments for each day. Socks & footless tights. Also taking two pairs of high heels, two pairs of tennis shoes and slippers. Also in my bag are my business cards, hair brush, combs and I think that's it.
In my tote are all my toiletries (I'll go over that below), my makeup bag, my cameras (pocket and bigger one), my iPad's bag, my iPad, my chargers, batteries, wallet, cellphone. Well I'm cheating the system. I actually have three carry on bags. My iPad bag I'm using as a purse this weekend to carry my wallet, iPad, pocket camera and cellphone and that's going inside the tote bag.
Among my toiletries I'm taking five day's worth of samples ranging from facial cleansers, moisturizers, shampoo/conditioner packets, lotion packets, etc. Basically stuff I get from all the subscription boxes I'm subscribed to. Those items are perfect for traveling and perfect to throw into a zip loc bag. The only real liquids I'm taking are a small sample of perfume, my mouthwash, my facial mist and I think that's it. Makeup wise I'm packing relatively light - my sample of BB cream from Birchbox, my yellow setting powder, mineral makeup, a couple of mini lip glosses from Birchbox, a couple of mini lipsticks from Beauty Bar and... and... Glossybox. My UD mini primer from MyGlam, my eyeliner from MyGlam, several brushes - two blush, four eye shadow, face buff brush, kabuki brush and my brush set from MyGlam. A mini mascara from Birchbox and one from MyGlam and my Laura Geller blush. I believe that's it. I figured, I'm going to a MAKEUP trade show where I can buy stuff as needed or if there's anything I forgot I can probably easily pick up at the local Sephora, Ulta or CVS. lol
