Hey ladies I need an opinion I just started as a freelancer and I got my first client my best friend close friend to be exact ...the occasion is her birthday so its my first client I charged 30 but now she's backing out because she don't want to pay the full price. What should I do ? Should I lose my first client or should I stand firm for the money ?

Stand firm. Cheapen your service then you are only cheating yourself. $30 is fair considering if you go to a make-up counter most will require you to spend $40 in product to get your face done. Write this one off as a loss and find someone else who will happily pay for your service. :)
