Are there any Makeup classes in the Detroit area? I dont want to do hair, just makeup and nails.
What about workshops and or webinars?
I would like to know that as well
There is a make up school in the detroit area called Michigan makeup academy. I think their website is http://www.makeupacademy.com
When I say "Detroit area" I'm pretty sure it's near Detroit or the surrounding area
Sorry! It's http://www.michiganmakeupacademy.co...

I will be hosting this workshop in November here in Metro Detroit:
Kevin James Bennett
FOUNDATIONS OF MAKEUP - The Complete Complexion Workshop
NOVEMBER 2-3, 2013 - Detroit Metro
The quality of your complexion work determines the success (or failure) of an entire makeup application. No matter what area of makeup your work in - film, video, photo, retail - you must have a detailed understanding of Color Theory to achieve your full potential.
This workshop clearly explains and demonstrates the science of Color Theory as it relates to makeup artistry. We'll uncover the secrets behind how cosmetic complexion colors are created and learn how to correctly assess a skin undertone and custom blend foundation to match it exactly. We will also cover color correction, camouflage, shading/highlighting and best practices for creating realistic complexions for HD formats. This is an essential workshop for anyone who wishes to excel in the creation of exceptional complexions.
