So I have very uneven skin - acne, scarring, uneven tone ect. And I'm having trouble finding a foundation that's airy and light, provides enough coverage and stays on. I do use setting spray, but it still doesn't seem to help. (I guess on setting spray, am I not putting enough on?)
I'm currently using urban decay naked, I've used tarte before, and Lorac setting powder, and aero minerals aerosol foundation. I like that aerosol the best, but still having trouble staying on. I use hard candy face primer and I don't like it, so I'm looking for suggestion there too. Help! I need to keep some coverage!
The more opaque the coverage, the heavier it's going to feel. I'm assuming your skin oily because your foundation fades throughout the day.
I have hyperpigmentation and when my skin was super oily the best foundations I found were MAC Studio Fix Fluid and Revlon Colorstay. I prefer medium to full coverage foundations because I can always sheer it out if I want to. You can also try MUFE HD Foundation, but I find that it emphasizes pores after a few hours.
My favourite face primer has been Revlon's Photoready Perfecting Primer lately, which is also recommended by Paula Begoun for combination/oily skin.
Try the amazonian clay 12 hour foundation by Tarte Its a little pricey but well worth it for your skin .. I think you'll love the feel its light and frothy
If you have oily skin try Milk of magnesia as a foundation primer it leaves this matte film that keeps your makeup on longer and doesn't effect the look (color/texture) of your makeup
