I've written a pretty in depth how-to guide to caring for acne and acne prone skin...
I've always had bad skin, since the age of 11, when the onset of puberty began. I'm now 21 years old and I can't deny the fact that I still get the occasional breakout. I'm also 3 and a half months pregnant and hormones have definitely played havoc on my skin recently, which has started to clear up dramatically since I used a few tips I've learned over the years and these amazing products that you can find on the high street!
The truth is, bad skin isn't always about what you're putting on your face - or what you're not. Sometimes bad skin can be caused by a matter of bad habit or simply just genes!
If your immediate family members, such as parents, grandparents and siblings suffer, or have suffered acne, there's a high chance you'll get it too. Unfortunately for me, my Dad and family members on his side suffered acne, so the key for me was prevention and knowing how to rid of the beasts when they raised their ugly, white heads!
Prevention means to take steps to reduce the chance of (more) spots developing. You can dramatically reduce your chance of breakouts if you take into consideration the following things.
