I'd like to know your thoughts about it. To get it waxed (legs/arms) in salons, or at home? And IF at home, which products do you like?

I'm an esthetician- go pro if you've got lots of hair, especially on areas that are hard to reach or if you would just prefer to be pampered. Do home of budget is a factor or if your hair is pretty light or sparse. If you're pretty adept at beauty stuff, you can try the at home waxing stuff that heats up, but be careful- check the temp or else it could really burn you. Be prepared that it's also a messy process for most people. I've used the type that is on the plastic sheets you warm up between your hands- it works, but it's slow going. I'm not a fan of cold wax- I've never found it to work that well. Hope it helps!

I wax my legs at home and use the Gigi warmer, I do the bottom leg bit I have to admit it gets messy and I can't reach the back so after I have done almost the whole leg I shave the back, I know what's the purpose.. If u have patience then go for it, use baby powder on ur leg so when you apply the strip it grabs all the hair. What ever you do don't use the hard wax from Gigi I scared my leg :(

It's not hard to wax yourself, it's having the balls to actually pull the strip! It's hard to inflict pain on yourself ya know! much easier to have someone else do it:)

I do my own :) I use moom wax. It contains 4 ingredients including sugar chamomile and lavender. Works best. No chemicals.
