Ok fashionistas! I need your help and experience here! I'm thinking of buying my first hair curler ever and I really wanna know, is there a huge difference between a $100 curler vs a $20 curler?
Some advice and suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!!
I think it depends on how you want to curl your hair and your own preference. For years I've loved my Iso clamp less hair curler and it still works great, in fact it's really he only one I've been able to use correctly and like. It's not high end but it's not drugstore either. Awhile back I bought a Revlon curling iron because I wanted one with a bigger barrel and I don't like it one bit. I think it may be because of the clamp but I think they sell clampless ones at drugstores and Target now. I also saw somewhere where someone just removed the screws on their clamped one. All in all, I think it's just finding a tool that you will be able to use and love. I'd try a lower end one I start with, then buy a higher end one once you've got a hang of it and know what you like/what you're looking for in a curling iron
you do not need to spend $100 on a curling iron Ive never spent over $25 for a curling iron, you just have to find ones that are good... I would stay away from REVLON they are pretty afordable but suck!!! target should have a decent selection, and of course if you don't like you can take it back. ALSO stores like ross, tj maxx, and marshalls sell beauty appliances I got a babyliss flat iron thats worth 100+ there a few years back for $35 so just shop around.

There is some great hair curler at the drugstore. My favorite so far would be Remington Pearl curler wand.
I would stay away from anything with metal as the plating of the curling iron, that dried the crap out of your hair. Aside from that, just use good heat protectant products and you're set.
Before you go spending $100 on curling irons i would suggest trying some curling wands ( usually found at walgreens or Sally's Beauty Supply) ! They are ridiculously easy to use and inexpensive with no damage to your hair. There about $7 and the culs last a whole day without hairspray i have an album that shows how my curls looked after a whole day with no hair spray.. feel free to check them out! I have seriously bought 6 different curling irons and none of them did the job so i would only recommend a product that really works! I guarantee you would be highly satisfied :) All you have to do is put them in your hair wet, got to bed, and wake up and take them out.. and you literally wake up with luxurious curls. Hope this helps!
