Meghan, I live in nj too and my skin is oily :/ I'm trying to figure out what's going on on my face... For the winter I use a thick cream like avenno ( pink lid) because it moisturizers better but since I'm oily I only apply on cheeks
I'm NJ as well. My skin is dry year round, so I pile on the goo. For winter I combine a face oil (last year was argan, but now I'm trying maracuja) then add a big glob of Hope in a Jar for Dry Skin. It's kind of pricey ($38) but I get about 6 months out of a jar, so it's cheap if you consider cost per use. It makes my skin so soft and radiant.
For the little chapped spots, especially on my nose, I use Smiths Rosebud salve. $7 for a tin at sephora. Made for your lips (and amazing for those!) but great for any dry skin. I put it on my nose, my cuticles, my elbows, heels, you name it!
@kellyg... Hahah I just bought rose salve for my lips and was reading the package and said to my self who would put this on their face hahahahha.. Guess now I know it can be done :) thanks for the tip for cuticles cuz that's my own pet peeve on me dry cuticles uck! :)
I have super dry skin and I use the Hemp body moisturizer on my face all the time. It is FABULOUS! It absorbs really quickly into the skin, it smells nice, and it leaves your skin super soft! Highly recommended for both face and body :)
Mary Kay timewise moisturizer it's amazing!! I'm in love with mine bc I have super dry skin around my nose and mouth. I'm a beauty consultant as well :)
If you have combination skin, Simple's Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser is the best! It hydrates skin perfectly without leaving it looking oily. It's also pretty good to use before applying foundation.
I love the Enza Essentials Saturation System. It consists of four different products: cleanser, toner, aloe scrub, and a herbal créme. I too have dry skin and after using this system, I have had no problems with my dry skin. I get it online at enza.com. I really recommend it if you are sick of your dry skin!

Olay daily moisturizer. It's not too light or too heavy and they have different formulas. I use the one for sensitive skin. LOVE

Clinique moisturizing gel for normal skin/lotion for dry. Ole Hendrickson for extremely dry skin. Always use something with SPF during the day!

Origin's Zero Oil, not greasy or heavy feeling, or a light layer of Cetaphil's with SPF 50 if you want sun protection
