Victoria, you are by no means ugly. If you saw the most of us how we look when we wake up you'd probably be traumatized..lol. Anyway, make sure to clean the area well. I like to use astringent. Then put a tiny dot of benzoyl peroxide cream on top of the blemish. When it starts feeling dry and itchy (at least 20 minutes) wipe the cream off, if your in a hurry, put a piece of wrapped ice over the spot for 2-3 minutes, if not in about 24 hours your blemish should be gone or very diminished. This is what works best for my skin, if you find something that works awesome for you, let us know, and good luck!
