I wouldn't say I have supper oily hair, I usually wash it every other day or so but the oils start to smell after one night without a wash. I have red hair so I dye pretty frequently to keep the colour up, I don't want to over wash because it damages it more. Does any one know how to keep this smell down? I've used baking soda or dry shampoo to dry the oils out, but I could use some help!! Thanks so much!
xoxo Heather
I think you should wash it every night, especially if it smells bad. There's nothing wrong with taking a shower daily or every evening. You put the rules aside to put your personal hygiene first!
there is a dry shampoo called pink sugar shampoo, i has a gorgeous candy floss smell to it, and you really dont need to use alot as it can be very powerful.
You could Take baby powder and pat it through your hair and bc your hair is red you could just shake it out or flip your hair lol most dry shampoo is just liquid(like water) and baby powder so it would be cheaper too!
Try using your regular rinse-out conditioner in the shower even on the days you don't shampoo! I know it sounds like it would make your hair oily but most of them actually have cleansing agents in them anyways and it should help with the smell.
