I'm trying to find a classic "do me ," red lipstick for pale skin that doesn't make teeth look yellow. Preferably matte, maybe some that has some blue undertones.
MAC ruby woo. It's the perfect blue based matte red. It's makes the most fabulous 1940s lip!
I recently bought Illamasqua Sangers and love it. It's a matte (though a bit dry, so you may want to use a lip balm first), but I don't think it's that blue-based. That said, Illamasqua has a great range of reds to choose from, and I believe most of them are matte.
If you want something more affordable, Revlon has a matte red lipstick called Really Red.

Hourglass Liquid Lip Rouge in 'icon' is a matte red that isn't drying on the lips and it has a slight blue undertone to it. Plus, this stuff last forever....I can get 8 hours of wear with it (including survival thru 3 meals).

I actually love Elizabeth Arden's Ruby Pearl! It's nice and deep, but still a normal shade of red.
wet'n wild has a great red lipstick its matte too :]
Mac - Ruby Woo & Illamasqua - Sangers
Also, what is a "do me" lipstick, or am I being thick? haha

YSL glossy stain in shade 20, looks like a natural just bitten lip if dabed, classic pin up lip if not dabed. It outlasts food, drink, talking, touching, kissing. It is there until you whip out the makeup remover, but isnt too tough to get off after a wash and swipe of cleasing water (I use Caudalie's). Its a great true red, and will be in my bag as long as YSL keeps producing it!
