These two schools are both very popular among successful makeup artists. I was wondering if anybody on here has input on either school. :) The CA locations!
As a graduate from MUD NYC, I can only speak from my experience that is an amazing place to go. There are 3 different courses you can take depending on the extent of Makeup education you would like to receive. The classes are smaller and intimate, about 20? You start with them, and graduate with them so nobody feels behind. I've been doing makeup professionally for about 5 years, and I decided to attend Mud to sharpen my artistic and business skills. I am so glad I went! I recently moved from NYC to SoCal, and as soon as I landed, I contacted the west coast campus. I still have a great relationship with them and have been able to build my network out here because of them. There are so many great things about MUD, I suggest if you are serious, attend an open house or tour. Ask as many questions you can. Do your research and scout other schools as well, but I bet you will get a sense of home at MUD.
