Best hair product to keep hair pin straight all day long?

My hair is naturally very thick and wavy/curly. I like to wear it straight but whenever I straighten it, it looks flawless and feels so silky and healthy. But within minutes, the ends of my hair start curling up and my hair continues to get wavier and wavier throughout the school day. It drives me nuts, I've tried so many products but none help my hair stay silky and pin straight all day long.

Any recommendations that work extraordinarily well on difficult hair? Nothing seems to work for me!
