Hey everyone I wanted to get a general opinion as to what you would change with my makeup? What would look best with my features and any color suggestions???
If you want something different try a dark purple eyeliner or eye shadow. My friend has the same color eyes and a dark plum color really makes them pop.
Add a little bit of the purple/plum eyeliner to the top outside edge of your eye and white shadow in the inside corner of your eye :) it "opens" the eye up
Thanks you all so much! The comments are so sweet! I am pretty experimental with my makeup but always lean towards the same shades. Purple! I haven't given it much thought. Will try!
You have such a beautiful face, such soft feminine features! I would totally do a smokey look for those eyes, probably with plenty of different brown shades.
Hi Arianna ! You have a gorgeous complexion ! You look to be one of those people that dont need much makeup ! I would put a dull soft pink just below the brow, and a dull medium brown just above the lash line. When I mean dull, I mean no glitter so shimmer . This will create a really glamorous look. I would then use liquid or gel eyeliner to do "cat eye liner", like the 1940's style. You have beautiful eye so this would look fab! I would then get a white eye liner pencil and just slightly colour in the edge of the eye, near your nose. This will make your eyes stand out and make them look bright ! Last but not least, I would use a red bold lipstick. This whole look is really good because it can also be used in so many different ways for different times of day! Hope this helps !!
Amazing! I've always referred to myself as a woman who'd best represent the 40's as opposed to any other era. I do the cat eye on occasion but I find that red lipsticks don't look right - even different tones of red. I love Matt shades. Thank you for the comment
Definitely some highlighter and contour cream :D BTW im envious of your skin! It looks amazingly clear and flawless! If only I could wrestle mine into submission haha
Thanks Amanda! I love to contour and highlight. My skin is pretty far from perfect. Oily t zone uneven tone etc but thank you! I don't have any sort if routine but I should!
Well firstly you are gorgeous! And you have a very very goo base going for you! Lucky girl. You obviously are good at choosing tones good for your skintone, your lip color is perfect! If I were you, I'd let my natural beauty keep shining through, an just accent those features. I agree with the plum eyeliner, perhaps in a mild cateye with a gentle brush of opalescent nude shadow in the corners I your eyes (inside and out), as well as the highest point of your eyebrow arch. Instead of a color saturated blush, I'd go with a soft pink like your lips over top of a brown just a shade or two darker than your skin tone. (I prefer this to bronzer, because bronzer has too much orange and sparkly unless you are outside) I would also lightly brush this brown in the dip/curve of your forehead above each eyebrow (very very light, your going for natural tan contours) a gentle sweep on the last half of your nose, and around your chin. Then, use a brown that is two or 3 shades lighter than your skintone, to highlight the area above your cheekbones, above you eyebrows, the corners of your mouth following your smile, and the top of your forehead. This highlight/lowlight method will definitely bring out your natural feature! (:

I think I'd add a little more blush, just a little, something close to your lip colour.

What shade of green?? Thank you!

Both light and dark. I'd use the greens in the Kat Von D Ludwig palette (maybe even Mildew from Urban Decay) and Inglot DS 477 for a look on you.
