I am 23 and can already see the signs of wrinkles around my eyes. I want to get rid of these and keep young looking skin. I got a Hydroxatone 90 second eye wrinkle remover sample thing and put it on with crazy good results. Is this just a quick fix that won't last or is Hydroxatone good? If not Hydroxatone what eye and facial creams are good?
I love using It's Potent Eye Cream from Benefit. It helps fade dark circles, deflate puffiness, and boost collagen. It's the perfect eye cream. I pair it with Unwrinkle serum from Peter Thomas Roth. I've seen such a difference using this combination. Definitely instant results from It's Potent and and long term from Unwrinkle.
Thanks... i love coconut oil! and just to let yall know last night was when i tried the hydroxatone sample and i am not even kidding it made under my eyes way worse!! do not use this product!!
You can't get rid of wrinkles unless you go through the surgery route, you can only reduce the look of ones you already have and look after you skin to the best of your ability in order to prevent premature ageing. You cannot stop age. One day you will have wrinkles, you just don't want the wrinkles that make you look like one of those wrinkly dogs!
Keeping the skin hydrated is the way to go, the drier the skin the more likely you are to get wrinkly!
Prevent wrinkles by using spf and NEVER tan. If you love the look of a tan go spray tanning. You are way too young to be worrying about wrinkles. I use Clinique's Superdefense system to prevent wrinkles because it's packed with antioxidants and broad spectrum sun protection. Since you are already noticing wrinkes, use a treatmeant like Clinique's Repairwear Laser Focus on those areas. I can't stress enough the importance of sun protection. If you aren't out in the sun, just putting spf on under your makeup is fine. If you're in the sun for extended periods of time, you need to reapply every two hours.
Fine lines can be treated and deminished with chemical peels but deeper set wrinkles around eyes and mouth and forehead may require laser treatments such as IPL or Fraxel laser. Use broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen, don't tan and wear eye cream! Never too young to wear eye cream!!!!
There are several thing you an do to treat and prevent wrinkles. I'd imagine that at 23 they are not deep set, so there's hope :). First and foremost a GOOD SKINCARE REGIMEN is essential! 3 products are essential to anti-aging, you should at the very least invest in 3 products---SPF, vit c/antioxidant, and a retinol...great spfs that i would recommend are Obagi Sunshield spf 50 or SkinCeuticals physical fusion spf 50, SinCeuticals also carries the best anyioxidants (in my opinion) either pherulic cf or the fluretin ce (sp?), and a good retinol can be bought through Jan Marini...these are all medical grade lines ans if used as directed can provide AWESOME results!
One more thing that you might wants to look into, depending on where the wrinkles are showing up, is botox--i'd mostly recommend it for heavy forehead/glabella lines, or very little around crows feet if they show up when u smile
Other lifestyle changes include NO BED TANNING, drink a lot of water, incorporate a monthy facial, and eat healthy...
Sorry for the very long response, but im just tring to educate and help out :) best of luck
I was using Philosophy's Mirarcle Worker Anti Aging eye creme. It was really good and helped reduce wrinkles (I think at least!) But it is pricy, and I ran out now I'm using Philosophy's Hope in A Jar...not as good as the other...
• Pineapple: Pineapple is rich in antioxidants and is a fruit known for its anti-aging effects. Apply pineapple juice all over the skin and leave it on for five minutes before washing off. This increases the level of Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHA) in the skin that are essential to fight the aging process.
• Facial Massage: Regular facial massages with oils such as vitamin E oil, castor oil or coconut oil can help prevent dehydration of the skin. The strong strokes of a massage also help prevent permanent lines and drooping of the skin.
