Thanks to the "beauty regrets" topic (great by the way) i realized i have to tale better care of my skin. I am 21 and with mixed skin. Also i would really appreciate if you told me when to apply it or any skin care tips ( consider y want it to look good when i apply foundation)
I love Neutrogena Healthy defense. It comes in 30 and 50, with tint and without. It's a great moisturizer, great price, and goes on perfectly under makeup.
CeraVe AM lotion has an spf of 30. I like it a lot because it doesn't have that strong sunblock smell like some other moisturizers have. CeraVe also has ceramides which are skin regenerating properties which a bunch of high end/department store brands have. But CeraVe is so affordable and can be found at places like Target, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. What not to love right!
As for when to use what products it's usually:
Wash Face
Toner (optional)
Specific Skin Product - As in, if you use an acne topical, wrinkle fighting cream, etc. etc. you put this on at this moment
Moisturizer (hopefully it's one with spf so you don't need to put sunscreen on after the moisturizer)
Primer (optional - this helps seal everything in, and adds a top layer of protection from make up. it also fills in lines, etc. etc. so that when it's time to put make up on, you're putting make up on a blank canvas [per se])
Finally, you put on your make up.
Also make sure to apply any of it onto the neck/décolleté area bc that part actually ages 10x faster than your face as you age! And it's awesome you are starting now bc aging shockingly begins at 16, crazy! 😃
Caudalie's Vinoperfect Day Perfecting Cream SPF 15 is my favourite. It's light but hydrates my skin and wears well under all types of makeup - mineral powder, cream and liquid.
This may not be relevant for the OP but if anyone is having trouble with contact dermatitis from any product with sunscreen, look for sunscreen or moisturizers using only zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide (which are physical blockers and shouldn't cause any allergic reactions but the zinc oxide can block pores if you aren't careful). You need to read the ingredients carefully because even natural brands supplement physical blockers with chemical ones.

And if you find a moisturizer without spf that you like, you can lightly dust this powder on http://www.queenbeesauce.com/index....
