Don't use heat! I just use baby shampoo on my hair please product zx
Depending on your hair texture baby shampoo may not be the best product to use. Sulfate free shampoos are gentler on your hair. Try deep conditioning every week or hot oil treatments with coconut oil to help your hair get stronger & grow longer.
Also give yourself regular scalp massages. It stimulates the follicles.

Lay off the heat, try not to wash it too often, and use sulfate-free products. If you have to use heat, make sure you use a good heat protector and use the minimum amount of heat possible. I swear by Palmer's Coconut Protein Packs as a deep conditioning treatment. Also, try not to brush your hair when it's wet. Instead, use a wide tooth comb to get out tangles and such. The bristles on a brush or even a regular comb will catch on wet hair and can cause breakage, which equals shorter strands. You can also take vitamin supplements like prenatal vitamins or folic acid.
I know I'm going to sound like a crazy person but I swear it work... Look up on the Internet the farmers almanac. It tell you the days to trim your hair for it to grow fast and for it to grow slower. I know this seems like a long shot but I was having the same problem with my hair just being stuck and not growing. I did this and not only did it make it grow faster but made it thicker. I know of several people that have done it also with results. Maybe it mind over matter but seriously what do you have to lose?
