Unless your hair is just dripping with oil the nope! (: if it's semi oily brush it often, style the roots with hairspray (absorbs oil) and the next morning use a dry shampoo on the roots. The wash that evening. If you have normal/dry hair you can go 2-5 days without washing (that is unless you say, exercise or swim in a chlorinated pool)
It's really bad to wash your hair everyday! Your washing away the natural oils that your hair needs so your body just makes more and more oils which might be why your hairs oily in the first place! :)
I wash mine every 5-6 days. If you want to transition to washing your hair less often, I recommend slowly adding days. Start washing it every other day and when you notice your hair is not as oily on the second day, wash every three days. I used to have very oily hair that had to be washed every day but now I actually prefer 2nd and 3rd day hair to first day. That's when it gets all soft and smooth! Typically I just wash it when it gets too oily, but I used to count the days when I was still adjusting.
I'm not a hairdresser but i have done experience at a few places and they recommend 3 times a week sometimes 4 if you have oily hair. Washing your every every day with take out the natural oils which you need to keep your hair healthy, i hope this helps :)
Look up some dry shampoo recipes on pinterest. If hair is oily it's generally because the shampoo is building up... Switch to a higher quality. Sulfate free. I prefer Alterna.
i personally wash my hair every 3 days when I leave it naturally curly.
When I have it blow dried and straightened I style my hair in the beginning of the week and by the end of it i was it out. To keep its non oily i use a dry shampoo or I just put it up in a pony tail. Someone here posted that you should bush your hair more often. NO NO NO! DON'T!!! Brushing your hair stimulates it to produce more oily. Try different hairstyles t prevent your hair from getting tangled :)

Is washing your hair everyday for it?

It really depends. If you're hair gets greasy quickly, I'd say it's ok. But if you have rather dry hair, I would definitely not recommend it. :)

You should wash your hair ever other day or so. Too much washing can make your hair dry.

I go every three days. I find it's too drying and not colour-treated friendly on my hair.
