I'm almost out of my current primer and I'm looking for a new primer to buy. I'm currently using Mac's Prep +Prime and before that Smashbox. What are some great primers for oily skin?
The Body Shop has a mattifying one that I used a while back. It worked at helping me be less oily, but I didn't like the silicone-y feeling of it. If that isn't a issue for you, I'd recommend that. Also, Hourglass has a wonderful primer (Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15) but it's mad expensive. You could get a sample of it at Sephora first, or get the small version which is only $17 or so. I really like the Hourglass one but I only use it when I feel fancy, haha. It really does the best job of any primer I've ever used, but the cost is a bit daunting.
Sorry for the late reply! I didn't specify what type of primer I was talking about (Face). SORRY!
Thank you ladies for your help. I'm going to check out all the primers. :D
I just got the 100% Pure last week (1/2 off sales are the worst for my wallet) so I haven't used it yet but the arm swatch was promising. And between the other two, the fyrinnae is the easier to apply but I would definitely choose the purely primer if I weren't wearing foundation that day, because the satiny finish is really pretty (and because a powder primer+everything else is a bit much for even this mineral makeup junkie).
