I just bought some flexi rods at my local sallys and I'm so excited to try them out. Has anyone else ever used them? How did they work for you? I would love to hear your stories, opinions, and suggestions.
I just used the gray ones and a few of the orange ones. I was really surprised at how easy they were to use. how long does it usually take you to do your hair with them?
I use the biggest ones, the purple ones. It literally takes me 5 minutes because I only use 6. I just add a little setting lotion, roll up the 6 sections, and leave em in to airdry for about 2 hours (usually when I'm getting ready to go out). I'll sleep in them too if I want my hair curly/wavy the next morning.
Lol I had so much thick hair before I cut it off I had to use a set and a half. I live them though. Just play with which angle to roll them because that affects the type of curl you get. <3 Sally's btw.
The first time i used them I got huge pinup girl type curls. It was pretty but it wasn't what I was looking for. I'm using a different technique tonight, hopefully I'll like these results better.
I LOVE flexi rods!! You also achieve beach waves by Bantu Knotting your hair. I did a video explaining how to bantu knot :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZeY...

I love them. You can adjust the size of the curl based upon how many you use. It's just a really easy way to get gorgeous curls or waves.
