I've been noticing Proactive for quite some time and i like the results being displayed....however acne is not really an issue for me....not that i dont have it...but its not as noticeable. But i really like how the results display much more clear, smooth, even and BRIGHTER skin tone...which really appeals to me. i have medium brown complexion...and one of my biggest issues with my facial complexion is pigmentation at certain areas and dark, dull and uneven areas. So would Proactive be right for me?
would this product be recommended for my skin concerns...or should i seek other options?
i would also really appreciate any input from those that have experienced the product. how effective is it? ...and what was your opinion and experience using it?
Don't use proactive...ESP if you aren't acne prone. It suffocates the skin. There are plenty of great lines out there for brighter skin. Clinique, Murad, Boscia, and Ole Henriksen are great brands to look at.
I love my proactiv, I had very acne prone skin and using proactiv for 4 months cleared it all. I just have scars left. If you don't have an issue with acne I would say not to use this product. It's very strong and could really dry out your skin if it's not being used for acne. But it's a great product. You should just get a really good facial scrub cause that's all the wash really is. Maybe try the clairsonic Mia. I heard that's good to brighten and even skin tone.
I use Proactiv and it worked for me, but it bleached all my towels which made me wonder what it was doing for my skin. I am looking into KORA now, it's an organic brand by Miranda Kerr.
I work in the skin care field as a Skin Therapist and have attended over 32 classes at the Dermal Institute. I am a certified Specialist with Dermalogica (one class from Expert) and I have to say after all my studies of different brands along with Dermalogia, I would chose Dermalogica over anything out there. They have a line called ChromaWhite that I think would work amazingly for you. I have been using it myself and the results have been amazing! I really hope this helps you.

Proactive killed my skin. I did get an off brand called Acne Free at CVS for like $20 and it worked well.
