My hair is black , straight and very fine . I have dyed my hair a couple times and when I dyed it it did a lot of damage . I want to know what kind of shampoo I should use to reverse a bit of the damage
Well I used boxed dyes and I used to tease my hair all the time and it became so dry and damaged that I started to get little white tips. It as been about a year of me searching for a shampoo that works for me and I finally found one that moisturizes amazingly. It is the Pantene Moisture Renew (I believe that is the name). Now keep in mind, if you have a bunch of split ends (like myself) it will not repair them because it is impossible to mend split ends (it does, however make the appearance less visible to the naked eye), you would have to trim them. but I definitely notice a difference if the dryness of my hair. Hope this helped!
I have some split ends , but not many so I think this will be a giant help , Thanks !

I've been coloring my hair for 20(?) years. Anyway, it's pretty trashed if I don't take care of it. I use Deva Care No Poo. It's a sulfate free cleansing conditioner. (loreal makes one too but I've never tried). I also wash my hair as little as possible.
For treatments, I like Ojon. They make a hair mask that's great, and thier dry recovery treatment is fantastic! Also, you can't go wrong with good old V05 hot oil. There is a reason that stuff has been around 50 years.
I find with shampoo/conditioner you tend to get what you pay for. Salon brands are better than drugstore brands for damaged hair. If you can afford it, it's worth the money.

Use a shampoo that is sulfate free! The best brands (trusted) are abba and Pureology
