The Makeup Show is basically a trade show for makeup artists/professionals...here is a link. There are definitely not as many exhibitors as the other shows but it's the closest to me and the only one I can go to according to all the dates of the others.
There is an article here about the show....its on the front page, definitely check it out http://www.themakeupshow.com/makeup...
I'm pretty sure I'm going! I can't decide if I want to go one day or both days. And I'm trying to decide if I'm going to take any of the hands-on classes and if so, which ones to take. Decisions, decisions!
@brianna I bought tix for both days. I was going through the classes...lots of good choices. I think I may take the beginners airbrush...i've been wondering if its something I would actually use in my makeup so I think this would be a good "start" also the "red carpet beauty" seems interesting....still unsure...
Lera- I was checking out the beginners airbrush class too. I'm thinking of taking one of the all-day classes that Saturday. Or maybe I'll just do one of the shorter classes on Sunday lol. I'm too indecisive!
Beautylish members are welcome to the show. We love Beautylish, When you purchase your tickets on-line at http://www.beautylish.com just add the word Beautylish in to the comment or where did you hear about section....see you there
Also, remember that while the vendors and brands available selling discounted products are the sane both days the education and free seminars, forums and panel discussions are different each day
Booked my hotel (unfortunately the Peabody had no rooms left at the group discounted rate) so I booked a different place for way less actually. I was thinking i'd need to drive anyway because I can't imagine the haul I am going to leave with. I've already made a list of all the things i "need" haaaaa CAN'T WAIT!!!
The Makeup Show Orlando is promised to be an amazing debut, holding seminars, keynotes, hands-on workshops with the biggest names in the industry, then over 50 prestige and pro lines including MAKE UP FOR EVER, Obessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Kevyn Aucoin.... (the list goes on) all selling their collections for discount, live artistry, and networking possibilities! its the place to be to have fun and take your career to the next level.
FYI - the show is for EVERYONE IN THE INDUSTRY, so not just MUAs, but hairstylists, agents, aestheticians, salon staff... i hope to meet you all at the show! http://www.themakeupshow.com

Do you have to be a professional artist (show a license) to go? I freelance so I don't have the pro credentials.
