Hi,
How do you use the graftobian palette on clients? I heard you only need a tiny bit. How do you make do with only a pea size to do the whole face? What brushes/sponges do you use? Any help/suggestion is much appreciated.
thanks!

I use graftobian on all my clients. I adore it. It's so easy to blend and has great color selection.
You do need a small amount, I wouldn't say pea sized but small nonetheless. I use a spatula to scrape off some product, put it on a mixing palette, and usually take a wet sponge or beauty blender to apply. Sometimes I use a stippling brush but I find a wet sponge gives the best coverage.

Add a thinner and make it a cream to liquid since it tends to cease :)

What kind of thinner would you suggest? I know that thinners have to match the foundation e.g. Silicon based with silicon, water based with water…

But what particular brand? I've tried looking for the graftobian mixing medium/ thinner but couldn't find it :(

I have the Graftobian palette but for concealer. Its easy to blend with a brush and gives an airbrushed finish without looking cakey or heavy. Plus its creamy and great consistency.

I used RCMA thinner. It's used for Creme foundations like graftobian ;) $10

arianna, how do you suggest to do this: scrape some foundation on a palette and add the thinner to it and mix till it has a consistant texture? thanks for your reply

I use it a lot on both fair and deep complexions, I usually mix it with the primer I am going to use as a two in one kinda thing (hey I figure if the BB creams can do it why can't I lol) and then I use a stippling brush like the MAC 187 to apply and buff it in with the Real Techniques buffing brush. I have to agree with Nadine S. once I do that it does look like airbrush but it is easier to blend and move if you are changing looks on a model at a shoot or whatever.

Smear/spread on a palette with a sponge/stippling brush.
Thinner afore mentioned - RCMA, MAC Mixing medium, or light Moisturizer.

RCMA is fairy greasy. A tiny bit goes a long way.

And re - moisturizer, oil + water = sludge foundation

Hi..I saw your post & love for the Glamour HD creme foundation. Was wondering if you could help me choose a shade as I don't have access to try & buy. I'm an Indian and my shade in MAC studio sculpt is NC 42. What would be the Graftobian equivalent (individual shade or palette)?
