My name's Chrissy and I've been here on Beautylish for about a little over than a week now, and I am loving it! I've been getting inspired to start a Beauty channel on Youtube but I'm not so sure what I should make as my first video.
Do you have any ideas? I will make sure to include you in the video and put a link to your Beautylish or Youtube in my description bar as a thank you!!
Welcome to beautylish! Well if your youtube is going to be focused on tutorials maybe you should do a fall inspired look :) or if you're leaning towards the vlogging part do a haul or review my channel focuses on both parts. I hope this helped. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. :)
First of all, welcome to beautylish! I have been on here for a while so I know the ropes pretty well, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. :)
I think for your first video you should do what ever you channel will mostly be focused on. For my channel I pretty much only do tutorials, so my first video was, you guessed it, a tutorial. I think if you are going to lean more towards the "vlogging" part you should do a haul, review, or favorites video. Or even a tag video. I would recommend the "no mirror makeup challenge" especially since it is new it is frequently searched. I hope this helped!
I'm in the same boat! I'm planning to make my first videos this weekend (since my Japanese midterm is on Friday! D: ) and I'm planning to start off with an introduction. I want people to be able to see who I am, what my skin/hair type whatever is. What issues do I have to work around? What I don't have to worry about, etc. Why do I think I have something to say? lol It's not necessary but I think it's nice--it lets the viewer find out stuff that might be out of place in a regular video and helps to get your mind focused on what you want to do. After that I'm going to dive right in to my reviews and product comparisons, as that's what I'm going to focus on in the beginning at least!
Welcome to Beautylish! If you do tutorials, you could do something fall look or even do a tutorial for a look for Halloween (like a popular celebrity or movie character). This is also a a perfect time to do a haul or review video (if you have extra cash) as quite a few collections are being released at the beginning of October and it usually gets people's attention to have an early review of products.
I hope I helped, I'll be looking out for your videos. Good luck!
You should do an everyday look...or a look you wear often. Start with basic looks, then as you get used to Youtube, work on creating different looks. Good luck :)
Welcome to Beautylish! I've watch love4nails and some other nail artists and really enjoy their tutorials,I have been wanting to start my own channel but can never get things just right, for your first video I have a few suggestions:
an everyday look, try zebra print (after all,who doesn't love zebra nails?)

Start with skin, as that is the first spot you would start on everyday anyway. ;)
