I just dyed my hair yesterday red velvet but i didn't end up liking the color on me. I wanna go a bit brighter. How long (days) should i wait to redye my hair?

Normally I wait about three months because dying your hair is very damaging but I've heard people wait two days until the next session or the day after you dye it

I'd go for one week. And moisturise and mask and treatment them like crazy!!

I'd go for Elisa's advice. It surely is very damaging to your hair. Take good care of it by using a good mask on it.

When you mean brighter, you want to bleach your hair to make it lighter? I'd say give it at least a couple of weeks. I've damaged my hair so bad by not waiting. If anything when I didn't like my red hair, i'd put a vegetable dye over it since it doesn't damage your hair. It just deposits the color.

use a high definition color to brighten it without lightening otherwise you will have to lighten it just the color go for it now wait to lighten it

Go to a salon! It will be worth it. Your hair is an investment and you want to keep the integrity of your hair! If not absolutely no box color! It's harsh. Go to your local Sally's and pick a 20 volume developer, and the a shade similar to the color you want. It should come out brighter bc all color contains peroxide and you've already treated your hair once recently. The time doesn't matter if you are lifting your hair safely. Not over processing or excessive heat. Just deep condition regularly.

Try a semi-permanent color. They are not damaging at all.

First off, it is color correction. Go to a professional.
If you MUST do it yourself, wait two weeks. Don't use a developer over 20 volume. Honestly, since you're not lifting, I would use a 10 vol. to protect the integrity of your hair the best.
Stripping hair color is damaging, no matter what you use. You are placing chemicals on hair and hair is delicate. In the meantime, shampooing everyday will lighten it up a lot. Hope that helps some.
