Besides using concealer, does anyone know of any product out there for harsh dark circles/under-eye bags? With the thousands of eye creams it's hard to tell what works and what doesn't.
Any tips/tricks would also be appreciated. Thankyou.
Sadly u can't get rid of dark circles,I too am genetically cursed when it comes to those and I've tried so many concealers but the bobbi brown concealer is amazing, also.Laura gellar has a good one both my sisters are crazy about after they tried mine. As for bags under the eyes put some preparation h on them and it should help, hope I was helpful
Benefits lemonade is amazing, I use it all around my eyes and blend with a tarte concealer (before I put foundation on). It is shuttle, and the yellow tones in the lemonade totally take out any darkness... Thus less concealer which is nice!
Hard candy heavy duty concealer rockssss! It can be used to cover up tattoos...comes in three shades light medium n tan n is only $6 at Walmart. It's legit tho it used to be sold at sephora until they sold it to Walmart :) u only need a way less then a pea size amount for dark circles and any other blemishes on the face so you get great coverage and it last forever!! Best $6 dollars ever :)
I've been using benefits "its potent" eye cream. Absolutely amazing! My dark circles seem to have reduced greatly. Ask for a sample at sephora and see how it works from there.
Use prep+prime highlighter pen in radiant rose, the warn tone neutralizes the cool toned dark area under your eyes, then use studio finish concealer or pro long wear concealer in a NW colour (ie NW 25) with colour correcting first u don't need to pack on a ton of concealer to hide the darkness.
The best thing I've found is that regardless of what concealer you use finishing your look by applying Ben Nye pretty pink powder under eye to the top of the cheek bone and out to the temple is the key to brightening under the eye.
My quick steps are eve pearl salmon concealer, foundation, pretty pink powder.
My special occasion steps are adding Tarantino eye brightener after foundation. Apply in a triangle from inner eye straight down to nostril and then angle up from nostril to temple. Pat with finger to blend then apply pretty pink powder
Use an orangy corrector.. I have VERY DARK circles myself. There are different types of orange based correctors out there, you just have to find one that compliments your skin tone. Make-up designory has a good one.
For eye creams I recommend advanced night repair eye and a trick is to put it in the fridge to help the bags. I has under eye circles and they don't go away. try a color correcting concealer or a lighter under eye concealer to brighten up under your eyes. it help me! :)
