Thayer's Witch Hazel toner is great. You get 12oz for something like $9-11 depending on where you get it and it lasts for months! They have plain (with or without alcohol) , rosewater (w/o), lemon (with), lavender (w/o), cucumber (w/o), peach (w/o) and high concentrated witch hazel varieties (with alcohol only).
From a beauty therapists perspective I have to be honest with you. Most toners you find at your average drug store are just a waste of time and money. Look at the ingredients on your bottle, its mostly made up of water (just called a fancy name 'aqua') and most probably contains some form of SDA (specially denatured alcohol) which ends up stripping the skin of moisture~~ If you still insist on toning, find something without the SDA (try something organic) and try look for a product with some glycerin in it. Glycerin is what helps to seal moisture in the skin. :)
A great home made alternative:
Steep green tea in water for 10 minutes - strain and dab over face
green tea is a great detoxify-er!
