I don't really watch them if I notice all the items are always expensive- ill never purchase them so the video doesn't pertain to me personally but I can see how it is helpful for others.

I love watching haul videos. I don't mind if they have expensive or inexpensive things. Good for them if they can afford it. I like watching them because sometimes I find out of new things I've never seen or heard of :)

I like watching makeup/beauty ones where there's an explanation as to why the items were purchased. I really don't see the point in watching someone say "I got this eyeshadow *swatch* it's really pretty... And I got this eyeliner *swatch* it's really pretty..." just because I like to hear why someone decided to make that purchase. The haul videos that are actually informative don't seem to be bragging to me. As for clothes/accessories/bags/whatever the hell else people haul, I couldn't care less about those types of videos. I personally don't find them interesting so I don't watch those. They can definitely come across as "look what I got! I'm so lucky! Aren't you jealous?" pretty quickly.

I love haul videos! They're pretty much my favourite videos to watch. I do prefer it when the person making the videos explains why they've bought something, though.

I agree with Court B. if there is a short reason after each item then it makes it more engaging. I try doing that in my haul videos or I don't do them at all. I want there to be a reason why you watch it and that is to see why I want those items.

I don't like when it's "oh I bought so much I can't even remember it all" la la la I find that can come across as really fake and self absorbed.
But I love hauls that are informative and maybe even have some swatches or something? They are fun to watch though :)

Yesenia P.-- I like to know if there's something special about a product that would make it worth checking out. Like if someone is showing a new mascara they got, I'd like to know why they picked it: does it keep a curl really well, is it great for lengthening, etc. I just feel like having the explanation makes it more helpful for me to make my lists for what to look out for when I'm on the hunt for new stuff.

I like them in moderation. But in general, I don't mind them - however, I can't stand watching fashion hauls. Those bore me to death! Makeup ones are great! Especially 1st impression hauls.

I love hauls-especially if they show newer products that have recently hit stores. Then I know whats out there and whats popular. I don't like them to linger on each product for very long though, then they get boring!

I personally am not one for videos. I prefer text posts with up close pictures and details. I like to watch videos when I want to see the product in action. But I really really like detailed product information. I read tons of blogs but always seem to skip over when there's a video.
