I'm trying to find a MUA for my wife, and my mom, and possibly also her mom.
My wife is Asian, so there's the whole eye lashes thing to deal with :-)

I looked at some web sites for various MUA's in New York and unfortunately I wasn't impressed...

We saw this movie called "In the mood for love". The makeup, hair styling and dresses in that movie are nothing less than fabulous and absolutely glamorous.

I believe it takes great talent to create a look that is classical and timeless, and yet fresh, fabulous and glamorous. For example if you look at the makeup on Princess Amidala in Star Wars, it is quite distinct, and despite being very different and alien, it has a classic and timeless look.

Any help / advice / referrals will be highly appreciated! :-)

I recommend "dope2111" also known as Promise Phan. In my opinion, she is a fantastic MUA, you can check out her videos on YouTube and check her info box on how to contact her. Congrats on your wedding!
