I am pretty darn pale and have dark hair so I have the problem of little dark dots on my legs when I shave from my leg hair. I was wondering if any of you know of any products that would help with this? I was thinking that waxing might help but what is a good brand to use? Or maybe something like Veet? Let me know!!!
1) Moisturize your legs daily!
2) Always use a sharp, clean razor. It definitely helps get all of the hair off!
3) Exfoliate your legs before you shave and after a shower. The shower softens up the hair, making it easier to shave. And exfoliating will get rid of dead skin cells that could be blocking other hairs, that way you know you're shaving ever last hair!
4) Waxing will give you a month or two without shaving or having to worry about little dark dots! I recommend going to your salon or a professional for this, they'll be experts at it.
5) If all else fails, laser it off! I would only suggest this if it's bad enough. A friend of mind was super pale but had very dark hair, and it showed up all over her body. She finally decided to get laser hair removal and she has never been happier! I would love to get it, but it really only works on skin that is super pale and has dark hair!
I hope I helped!
@Dannielle I am very bad at putting lotion on my legs. I'm sure that this will help a bit.
@Natalie I was thinking about going to my salon and getting them waxed for the first time. It's not as expensive as I thought it was. I'm just not sure about the grow out stage. I will do more research about it. I wish I could get laser hair removal but its soooo expensive!
I am pale with dark hair and I can definitely say laser hair removal was one of the best things I've done! Post-shave used to be so painful for me because of how thick it was. I love never having to worry about it!
Shaving will only make the dark areas look worse because your hair will grow coarser each time. If you're concerned about going to the salon for a wax job, you can purchase a home waxing kit on Folica. The soft wax can get a little messy, but it's pretty painless and works like a charm.

Moisturising your skin helps..it plumps up the skin a bit. Also, try using a sharper razor, or waxing. Veet is decent, but sugaring is good too.
