If you're gonna get Herbal Essences, you should really go to Sam's Club or a Costco because the bottles are HUGE! Right now I am really loving the products from Shea Moisture, especially the hair masque. They are available at Walgreens and Target. Also, I only cowash my hair when it is curly with Tresemme for wavy to curly hair OR Suave naturals conditioners. For my scalp "treatments," I use mango butter by softee on my scalp about once a week, and my hair has never been softer. A lot of creme leave in conditioners work for my hair, leaving it soft and manageable than it would be if I used a leave in conditioner that was more liquified. For spray bottles, I mix water, olive oil, and tresemme conditioner in it so that when I am detangling my hair, it is soft and easier to manage when I style it however I choose to style it. These things may not work for you, but I trust that they will. You just have to experiment with products in the store. B&B has a hair lotion for $2.99 at Walmart that has castor oil in it and it also protects your hair from the sun. I swear by that product when my hair is natural. I hope this has helped.
Girl have I got the product for you! Okay so I am like hooked on TREsemme' Smooth No Frizz Spray and Garnier Fructis Style Smoothing Cream, Pure Clean. The TREsemme' helps but I will not go out the house without the Garnier cream. I even did a video on it! Check it out. Hope it helps =D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A74L...
Herbal essences 'its a curl thing' really works for me. It doesnt dry out your hair and keeps the bounce in mine for at least a week. I also use when my hair is damp a styling moose. Scrunch it in when your head is upside down.
Stay away from Miss Jessies unless you like putting mineral oil on your hair. I just posted a thread about how I found out about it. It is the death to curly hair and scalp.
Hey Nicole.. I love using shea moisture products on my curly hair.. I list all of my fav products in my Hair Talk and Transitioning video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVu_...
