I want to get from MAC the brushes that I would use the most and I just don't know which ones to get. I don't want to get ones that I really won't use. Please help!!!
depends on what type of makeup you use often. If its eyeshadows get the 217 and 224 brush. Go to a CCO at an Outlet Mall & get it there b/c its cheaper. Right now they are selling a brush set from a past collection for around $35, i think it comes with 5 brushes, the length of the handles are a little shorter but its the same brush.
It seems to me the eye brushes are generally better than the face brushes. I think the 217 is a must-have and would also recommend the 239. (I don't own a 224.) If you want to do an overseas* splurge I'll also steer you away from MAC and suggest a Louise Young LY38.
I watch many tutorials and some of the guru's use coastal, MAC, and Sigma brushes. And they vary in prices. I really like MAC. I'll check out the 217 224 and 239. Thanks again!
I have a few 217's for eyeshadow of course but imam obsessed with using to put concealer on with it, it really buffs it onto the skin specially when covering red areas on the face... Love it!!!
A good eyeshadow that can be used for anything is the 217. But you should check out Sigma brushes because they are almost exact dupes for Mac ones and so much cheaper!
