I'm only 16 and I have stretch marks, what the heck? [and no, I have never had a baby nor been pregnant, haha]
I've got a lot of stretch marks on my upper thighs! I'm not sure what they came from but I hate wearing swimsuits and shorts because they show and my boyfriend always asks me why I have zebra stripes on my legs =,,,,,,,,=
What can I do about them? I'd prefer natural/diy/home remedies if possible but I'll take any advice! n__n
Also, not sure if this helps at all but I weigh about 125lbs and I'm 5 foot 7... I've never had any dramatic weight gain/loss at all. The stretch marks aren't new either, I probably first noticed them a couple years ago but I've never really thought to do anything til now :T
Hey joanna, i myself had stretchmarks at a young age also (13). To be honest i think its just because of growing! Thats the only thing i can think of. Now i have tons of them cuz ive had 3 children. :( ive been told Bio Oil works great howeverbi myself have never tried it. Or you can use the Palmers lotion also. Im told stretchmarks will fade however they never go away. In terms of home remedies im not too sure but if u find out some let me know Lol :) hope this helped
I have the same thing! Although I'm shorter at 5'3" and have never had any significant growth spurt it seemed to happen slowly. I agree with using Bio Oil although I just started so I can't say I see much of a difference.
Bio Oil or Cocoa Butter. This has helped me tons considering.. my stretch marks are from carrying babies and my weight shifting. Anyone can get stretch marks, I was a size 3 5feet 6inches and had them before my children :)
I have a few lines on my butt that developed from my running days in highschool and I discovered the best way to hide those puppies....spray tanning. I have to do it anyway because of what I do but when those bright stage lights hit my backside I've been told that they are nonexistent.
I have a problem with stretch marks as well - and what I am using right now to make them fade away is Bio Oil (yet to see results). Heard so much about this oil that I just had to buy and try it. It was a bit expensive though, but if you can live with the price - you should be good to go. And on a plus side, it doesnt smell bad either :)
The other product that I havent tried but several beauty guru's recommended (kandeejohnson - you can find a video on YT of how she applies it) is something from "MammaMio" collection (http://www.mamamio.com). Sure they focus on pregnant women, so if you are not pregnant dont let this put you off. Worth checking their website for: "Goodbye Stretch Marks" or "Tummy Rub Stretch Mark Oil".
Then there is also "Cosmetic Laser Stretch Mark Removal Treatment" - not tried, but its there as an option if you can afford it. I sure cant, haha ;)
I heard that sunbathing helps as well - but being really pale and I cant gain any tan, I didnt try this method.
I have stretch marks as well, I'm 16, 5'2, 100 pounds, I've asked a dermatologist and they said it was just because of growing up, and everyone has them. I use bio oil on them, and slowly it helps but doesn't fully fade it away.
I have major stretch marks on my thighs, knees, and hips too. Although I had debilitating growth spurts when I was younger, I'm 5'9" now, so fairly tall! However, I also have lots of scars, and stretch marks, are basically scars. I just use lotion on them, the massaging motion will help them heal and become less noticeable over time!

Stretch marks have no age. Stretch marks don't care about your weight and height either. Stretch marks on women is pretty common.
