Oh Lord i don't know what to do with my face it's dry and there's white sun spots any recommendations like foundation exfoliator face creams etc i need help ;((
REN has a very good skin care line for dehydrated skins. Their Jojoba cleanser did wonders for me when my skin was dry and dehydrated. Don't use harsh exfoliators. Other than that drink a lot of water. It's gonna take a few weeks to get back to normal.
I live in France so I can't tell you where you can get it in the US, but I know they have a website where you can get the products. This is a UK skincare line so be aware of the ending cost with shipping. Be ware REN isn't a drugstore brand tho, their skin care is not high end but in between. On the website they offer a starter kit for sensitive skin which is nice if you wanna try before buying the full size. To me their sensitive line is the best, but they have awesome dry skin skincare line too.
I use lotion every morning and it works great! Put it on as soon as your out of the shower while your skin is still moist so the lotion will soak into your skin!
Have you tried using ponds? :( I've been using that for a while and it really moisturizes my skin. And every once in a while I use essence and emulsion for extra moisture and retaining the moisture.
First, avoid foaming cleansers. If you have dry skin, foam is not your friend. I like Bliss clog dissolving cleansing milk, because I'm acne prone. Two good drugstore options are Cetaphil and Neutrogena extra gentle cleanser.
2) moisturize. A lot. If you think you have put on too much, put another layer on. I use either argan or maracuja oil, then hope in a jar, then atopalm mle cream. Yes, all three. At night at least. During the day I skip the oil.
3) stop exfoliating. Grains and scrubs are not your friend. Switch to chemical exfoliants like retinol or enzyme peels (philosophy microdelivery enzyme peel is amazing).
As for foundation, I like to use MAC tinted moisturizer all over (so that is layer 3 or 4) then I apply studio tech where I need a little more coverage. I set it with Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, because powder looks awful on my dry skin even after all that moisturizer.
Good luck :-)

I use clean & clear moisturizer. It is also a acne remover but it works really well.
