So read that wetting your face with hot or warm water opens your pores and then you wash it and rinse off the cleanser with cold water and it closes your pores, so I was wondering if this was true?
A great natural tonic and pores minimizer is rose water, wet a cotton ball with little of it and swipe over your face, Do that daily and see how glowing your skin shall be.
As we get older, our pores get bigger and here's why... Pores are surrounded by collagen fibers. With age as collagen production slows and collagen breakdown accellerates, pores lose their structural support, flatten out and widen (hence we want to close them). What works? Exfoliating cleanser with salicylic acid works like Drano in your sink to unclog oily pores. As we age, retinoid and peptides help increase collagen production, which keeps pores smaller... I use a toner with an "ogliopeptide" in that the Dr. that manufactures it calls "Spanx for the pores". I'd love to help... I think you can message me for more info!!
Your pores cannot literally “open” or “close” but yes how temperatures can give the appearance of larger pores, and cooler temperatures give the appearance of smaller pores but they do not literally shrink unfortunately! Hope this helped :/
