The winter months are coming up soon, and my skin tends to get super dry october-march. So i need the thickest, creamiest most moisturizing moisturizer you can think of. and then i want an acne skincare regimen that won't make my skin more dry. suggestions are appreciated.
I like to used clean and clear oil free face washes. They keep my face clear but keep the moisture. As far as moisturizers go I stick to clean and clear but it depends if you have combination skin or not
I don't know what acne product to recommend because I don't know your type/severity of acne. As for the most heavy duty moisturizer, Cerave cream. It's the heavy duty stuff made for elbows and knees but works wonders for the face! (it's also a cheap product) also, if you notice you have flaky skin- EXFOLIATE! It will help you tons!
Hello there skin twin ;-)
For a face wash try bliss clog dissolving cleansing milk. It also doubles as a five minute mask.
For moisturizer, I use argan or maracuja oil, and hope in a jar for dry skin (and sometimes some atopalm mle on top).
You may think too much moisture will break you out, but for dry skin it's the opposite. If your skin dries out, your oil glands will go into overdrive, and that will cause breakouts.
I don't have alot of acne but i like to keep it at bay. and that bliss stuff sounds amazing kelly! i wanna try that. and where do you get the maracuja oil?
The bliss IS amazing. It's the only acne wash that doesn't strip my skin and break it out worse. I love it.
The maracuja oil you can either buy Tarte's version, which is way overpriced (much like Josie Maran's argan) or buy it online from a company called Natural Bliss. I paid $12 for 4oz, which for a face oil is like a ten year supply. Be warned, it's not the best smelling stuff ever, but the smell fades in about a minute.
