I would suggest maybe using pore strips or using a face mask. They are both really cheap.

Exfoliate. I bought a face scrub from Sally's, I think it was about 3$ & I use it once a week & also the st. Ives apricot scrub. Masks also help

I agree with jena o. Exfoliate to get rid of the dead and clogged skin 3x a week morning & night. Murad is pretty good that's what I'm using now

If the Clarisonic is out of your price range you could try the Olay Pro-X or even a hand brush to do some deep scrubbing. I would also recommend the Body Shop's Tea Tree exfoliator and some type of deep cleaning mask. Maybe try not wearing any makeup for a week as well, putting foundation on top of bad skin isn't really going to hide the problem and it won't help things either. If its really bad and nothing seems to work you might need to go see a dermatologist.

If you ex-foliate too much you will make your skin overreact and produce MORE oil, therefore making it worse. Maybe try a clay mask.

Over exfoliation has nothing to do with producing sebum (oil). Over drying the skin can produce in over production of oil in the skin, which makes oily/combination skin even worse. Steaming your face daily with a very, very, very warm wash clothe (or facial steamer) will help to loosen the dirt and oil within the clogged pores. Biore strips work amazing with clogged pores and if those don't help Clean & Clear makes a mask that helps with pores and the brand "Say Yes To" makes a tomato scrub that helps with clogged pores. The most important thing is understanding your skin, knowing what type of skin you have, and what you can do to balance it!
I hope this helped!

Everyone thank you for your help! Imani i'm going to start doing that with the washcloth and i need to pick up the biore strips. i just heard a horror story about a girl that had a bad reaction to it and it ripped off some of her skin? lmao! since then i've been to afraid to try them and i thought there was too much hype and they didnt work. but i'll give them another shot since i havent used them in yearssssss. also i'll check out the clean and clear since thats one of the only brands that seem to work for me acne wise.

A quick cheap way what I do is steam my face with hot water and a little lavender oil and the wash my face with soap but as a little bit of sugar in with the soap or your face wash. The sugar acts as an exfoliant and helps scrub away dead skin cells.
