Idont know if i should wax it or not, i have never did anything to it, its not think its really thin, but gives this really dark shadow around my mouth.. I am scared to wax because it may leave a light area around my mouth!!! help ......please..:(
Start by sleeping plucking it...it hurts at first. But after a minute it isn't so bad. It is more time consuming to do it this way but I prefer it because I'm afraid of waxing (I picture my skin skin coming off with the wax).
Just wax hair. If you puck it, it will hurt, maybe leave a few scares. Shaving doesnt last long. Lazer is exspensive. Nair, well nairing it might work too. Yeah do the Nair.
Nair really works but it does leave my skin lighter there when I do it. I'm afraid to get it waxed, but it's probably the best way to do it. It won't pull off your skin! It'll hurt way less than plucking each one lol. Don't shave!
thanks .. but i think im goingto try the nair, first, but if it doesnt wokr like i want then waxing it is!!! i know that shaving is bad thats not even an option!!! i just dont wantto have that light patch above my lip, when the hair is gone
Oh yes threaded!!! I've never tried cause I heard its pretty painful and I'm a chicken, lol but I get my eyebrows threaded and it works great! My friend does her lip and loves it!
Wax & tweeze those that just don't want to get loose! If it is very fine & depending on your skin tone, you can also consider bleaching it..but this is very tricky as you can end up with being more noticible. The various microwave waxes are easy to use, and I've had good luck with the Sally Hansen, Veet & Nair strip wax. Truly, do not shave unless you are in a situation where you for some reason are unable to do any other process. I haven't done threading, but from what I've seen the results are amazing. Oh yeah, the depilatories (Nair, etc) formulated for the face often work well, it really depends on how coarse your hair is & how much you have. Seriously, though, keep your tweezers handy bc no matter what process you use to remove the hair-whether you do it by your self or at a salon, there is always that one pesky hair that shows up! (Oh, and when you get older, pray you don't get hair on your chin--yep, it happens. No one tells you, but anyway, you'll be a pro with removal by then!)
I use the hair removal kit by Sally Hansen. It works well just make sure not to irritate your skin before or immediately after or you may have some irritation. I have to do it cause it makes me have a dark cast over my lip and I can't go out looking like that.
thnaks everyone.. i think im goingto try waxing it.. ummm i do know thtashaving is bd i willnever do that, and i already get a few hairs on my chin and im going to get those waxed to!!!!
Get it waxed. IMO, it does not hurt, if anything - plucking is more painful then waxing the first time and definitely don't shave or you may end up with a mustache! lol
I bleach the hair using Sally Hansens bleach. It work well and is fast. No pain involved. But my darker hair is sparce and thin so it may not work for everyone.
Like I said, I shave whenever I see hair and my lip and skin are just fine. I bait occasionally too, but that takes too long. I am going to try threading it myself pretty soon. Only because it lasts longer. I just have to find the right thread.

There is definitely a chance of your skin altering if you wax or nair... Anything like that! Yes tweezing will hurt, but it may be the best option! :)

I shave mine. I just use a new disposable razor each time. I've been doing it for years, no side effects.

Wax it - shaving will stimulate hair growth. Also, you can get laser hair removal for that if it really bothers you.

Don't wax! I did, and it hurt SO BAD. Not worth it AT ALL. But threading is great, the pain is minimal and it lasts for a good while!

To save the money in the long run I would laser the area if you can afford it.
