Another thing that I just recently tried and it worked wonders..l is a bun on top of ur head. Literally, on top. Like, if you drew a straight line from the tip of ur ear and went upwards, that's where the bun should be! If it doesn't work the first time, then try a different bun :)

Ive got really thick crazy hair that i get perfectly straight all the time. I use two different products: Victoria's Secret So Sexy Straight, and Redkin Spray Starch. They both work perfectly at keeping your hair smooth. Also try drying your hair layer by layer with a brush!(:
