•Cream/Gel Liner
•NYX Eyeshadow Base
•Mascara
•Lipsticks
•Lip Gloss [just one that squeezes out]
•4 blushes [2 powder/2cream]
•Illuminating Powder
•Shimmer Brick
•disposable spatulas
•disposable mascara wands
•qtips, cotton balls, makeup sponges, cotton pads
•elf makeup remover wipes
•witch hazel
•alcohol [in spray bottle & container]
•elf daily brush cleaner [to quickly clean & sanitize brushes]
•hand sanitizer
•headband
•hair ties
•1 clip
•hairspray
•bobby pins
I think that's pretty much what I have..
suggestions on other things I need?
This is my first job, only 2 models, so I know I don't need a ton for it, but in general what would be good to include in my kit since I'm building it up?
Eyeliner pencils and lipliners. As far as brushes go, Bdellium antibacterial brushes are my favourite. The kits are affordable and they're well worth it. Coloured cream bases are also a lifesaver. I love the Maybelline Color Tattoo cream gel shadows. You definitely need some false lashes and scissors and adhesive. Tweezers always come in handy.
I agree with Airi, you need false lashes, eyeliners, lip liners and tools(scissors, tweezers). For makeup I would say you need at LEAST 2 mascaras you should have 1 black, 1 black waterproof, and 1 brown. Eventually you should also invest in a makeup setting spray. You should also bring a bag for your garbage, a towel to put down so you don't get makeup on anything and a water bottle in case you get thirsty. If you have business cards bring them!!! If you don't there are websites that you can get them for cheap or free. ( i like zazzle.com designs best and try to get them when they're 50% off) Good Luck!!
I carry paper towels, scotch tape, a spray bottle with water in addition to those things you mentioned. Definitely need lashes, DUO glue and small scissors for trimming the lashes if need be.
I love Ren's blog! She's definitely someone I look up to in getting started.
So for false lashes, is it ok to buy the sets of like 20 pairs that you find on Ebay?
They're cheap.
Just wondering if they're worth it for the small price.
lashes, glue, sissors, hd/ sliica powder(eliminate shine), paper towels, camera, hand towel, nail glue, tape, business cards, mints, gum, power bar, cash, spray bottle w water
