I used to wear them in '90/'91 and I used to LOVE them because they were so comfy. Now, they're not particularly my style anymore, but I've seen some girls rock them, although some have missed the boat.
I'm with Heather H. I did them back in highschool during the early '90's with Creepers (shoes) and loud rayon shirts. Would I rock them now....heck no! Maybe for my 20th highschool reunion I'll rock it to go down memory lane with friends.....
I think if they're cut a certain way, they're an amazing way to accentuate curves and show off a small waist! I personally think they're hot in some cases but they're not for everyone.
Hahaha Shelley and Heather! Yes there are just some people who look incredible and non daggy in them lol!! They are just so comfy and I don't really care how I look in them, cause they are so dang comfy!!
I have a pair I bought in Istanbul when I was studying abroad, and I LOVE them for summer and spring! I think they're just as bad as the gauchos trend a few years back, but I rocked the sh*t out of those too! Def. agree it is NOT a one-size-fits-all kind of style though... and there have been major faux pas regarding cut in certain trend photos. =/
