You shouldn't ever be embarrassed. I have psoriasis and dry scalp in general. Tea tree oil is amazing! You can buy a large bottle from any drug store or walmart over by the vitamins or pharmacy area. Dandruff shampoo is the worst idea ever. It strips the color and can make it worse. Tea tree is also great for dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, bug bites, rashes, and opens up your sinuses. ha.
My husband has a similar issue, in his case the flakes were from psoriasis on his scalp where sunlight could not deminish them like on the rest of his body
Paul mitchell tea tree shampoo. Awesome!

Don't be embarressed! (: It happens to the best of us! I used to have dandruff until I started using Suave Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner. Maybe it's just me, but it works great!
