As a makeup artist I think its better to create your own concept, or even work on it together the model and/or photographer. :)
If you're ever stuck for ideas try googling images, or flipping through magazines. Even having a look at other people's work to gain some inspiration and using it to come up with your own idea for a photoshoot.
