So my school dance is coming up and its a really big thing and I was considering going and getting a makeover for it at MAC the day of? Would that be a good idea? Because I need makeup that will last all night, look great with my dress, and look flawless in photos. Would you guys recommend this? Do you think I'd be able to tell MAC what I want without them under or over doing it?

I think it would be a good idea, unless of course you are comfortable with your own makeup skills. Another upside of doing your own, you know exactly want you want. Mac would be pretty good, as long as you are clear about what you want and you can afford it aswell!

try neautral colors and light pink gloss. something that you can re-apply instead of lipstick needing multiple applications. if your younger than 18 than i would suggest staying away from a smokey eye and red lip, i just don't feel its age appropriate. but hope this helps and hope you have fun at your dance
