Okay so I have worn hair extensions all of my life sew-in and bonded and quick weave fake pony tails and so on but I have never worn clip in extensions which is a lil odd since I am a hair stylists! I just dont have any clients that request to use them so recently I have wanted to try them just because I love no commitment hair styles like ace front wigs and such but the problem is there are too many companies out there to choose from I have heard excellent things from two companies HeadKandy and Clip Fancy I just wondered if anyone here had any thoughts???
I am not sure if your looking for a project but I actually made my own for about 1/2 the cost and it was super easy. I just bought natural human hair measured my head for 1 four clip, and 3 three clip tracks, glued 2 tracks together to create volume and sewed the clips on. Maybe took me an hour/hour and 1/2 to make. I really like them because they are personally sized to my head. Hope this helps! :)
I want to try them too! I have super thin/fine hair. But you can't try them in anywhere without buying first with no returns! What if i don't like them? I don't even know what to buy!
I actually make my own! I buy the little clips at Sallys beauty supply, they are usually by the needles and treads needed for a sew in. I then Measure the areas around my head where I want to put them, and sew the track onto the clips. And then they are ready, I use them in between sew ins!
Made my own too. It is really simple and saves you tons of $$$. Most places will help you match your hair color and texture. I used them in this shoot. Just sew on the right color clips and you are good to go.
a olitle below my shoulders. If you get the extentions much longer than your hair, you will need to have someone cut them into layers as well as your hair to make them look like your hair or you will see where your hair stops and the extensions start. cutting them is a little tricky.
I adore my luxy hair extensions! And they were a good price and have lasted me a long time. They also have clips that wont damage your natural hair! I bought mine online at luxyhairextensions.com
I tried foxylocks, headkandy, and sally's but the best ones are lush locks. Headkandy wasn't bad but it was too pricey. You can get that if the price is fine and you don't want to wait but lush locks are a lot less expensive and they've last me the longest. I do a lot with my extensions, I use heat on it almost every time I wear it which is about 5 times a week. However, lush locks are almost always out of stock, so I usually stalk their facebook and website when I need a new one. If you are willing to wait, I promise you that it's worth it. Go to mypinkvanity.com That's where you can purchase one.
I've tried Foxy Lock Extensions and they were okay. I just bought Luxy Hair Extensions and I love them a lot more!! It's so long and soft and they're just lush! :) I paid $139.95 for them and they ship internationally for free. The clips are comfortable as well.

I really like ProExtensions. They blend really well with my hair and dye perfectly! They also give free next day shipping if ordered before 3pm!
