So I plan on visiting MAC this weekend and picking up a few things I know the items I want to get but just not sure of colors/swatches any suggestions/recommendations?
Here is a list of some things I want:

- Cream Blush ( preferably a bright pinkish hue)
-Powder blush ( for contouring)
- Paint Pot ( Light and sparkly!)
- Eye shadows: (Purple, black, white)
- Lip gloss

And if there are any MUST have products that anyone loves please feel free to suggest I may add to the list! =]

Ok these are what work for me and I'm not really as pale as my userpic shows, I mean, I am pale, but the colors were toned down quite a bit for that image. So here goes...

Powder Blush for countouring: Harmony works really nicely for me and I think for most skin tones that are either light to medium golden, as long as your'e not too dark you should be fine with that.

-Paint pot: you probably want Bare Study, because it's a light champagne-ish color with shimmer in it.

- Eye Shadows:
+Purple- Fig 1 (a great eggplant slightly warmer shade), Vibrant Grape (really bright and fun but on the pinkier side) or Purple Haze (matte but a gorgeous blue-ish toned color).
+Black- Carbon (great matte but easily duped with a cheaper brand) or for fun sparkles, Black Tied.
+White- I personally use Blanc Type all the time because it's not stark white, but close enough to be a great matte highlight. For a sparklier option, phloof (which has a lot of sparkle and possible fallout) or Shroom (which is also shiny but not likely to have fallout).

I have a few lipsticks, but their glosses have a reputation for being super sticky, which I do not like in the least. I own the majority of the shades listed, except for Black Tied and Phloof, again due to avoidance of fallout. The only shades I would really tell you to watch out for if you don't want glitter all over your face are the Frost finishes, which you really have to work with, but their Satin finishes are beautiful and contain enough shimmer to catch the eye without making a mess.

I really hope that helps and have fun!

That was super helpful thanks for replying, when you said that carbon could be duped do you know what its dupe is? And thanks for the recommendations on the purples, I wanted an eggplant color as well as a vibrant purple!

As for the lip gloss, I have only used their creme sheen lip gloss which was horribly stick as well as their lustre gloss.

by looking at your skin tone,
-so sweet, so easy creme blush sounds like something you were going for. it's a really pretty yellow base pink. very pretty.
-eyeshadows i feel like you would have to go in the store and personally look at them yourself. it all depends on how purple you want it, if you want shimmer to it, more of a pink base, or a blue base. little things like that. carbon is a must have! a matte black shadow that's very versatile for any look. for the white shadow, that goes for the same thing as the purple shadow. just gotta go in and see what shades and finish you would like.
-as for a contour, prism, harmony would be a nice one. or what you could do is get a bronzer like golden. then you can have a product that you can use as a bronzer and highlight. just a suggestion.
-paint pot, bare study would be the way to go if you want something light with a pretty sheen to it.
-lipgloss, my personal favorite is viva glam V. it's a neutral shade and goes great as an everyday nude gloss. also thursday, there's a new collection that's launching that's putting your favorite lipstick into a lipgloss form. try checking some of those out. i know im excited for them to come out.

i hope some of this information helps you out. :)

I can't live without my MAC Vex eyeshadow and Strobe Liquid. I always mix a little strobe liquid in with my matte foundations so that they have a little glow to them. I use Vex has a highlight on my inner eye corners, cheeks, chin and cupids bow. Have fun at MAC!! ^_^

Thanks everyone this has been helpful! =]

All of their matte^2 shadows are a must-have to me - they're buttery soft, and they increase the amount of looks you can do! Peaches blush is my fav as well... if you're looking for eyeshadows w/ high impact, Deep Truth and Humid are my favs, and Expensive Pink is gorgeous if you can pull it off.  =D

@Leeann: "Dupe" is short for "duplicate". Lorena means that other brands make matte blacks for less money.

And at least one has way more pigmentation.

@ Shelly I know what dupe means I was asking what eye shadow is the dupe equivalent for that MAC eye shadow lol Thanks for the link! =]

So I ended up going to MAC and ended up getting some blush and eye shadow palette! The store was super busy since it was prom this weekend but the girl that helped me did a super job considering how swamped and understaffed that store was!

I ended up getting:

-Mineralize blush in Love Thing
- quad eye shadow palette with Vibrant grape, purple haze, and two more that I cannot remember the name of off the top of my head but one was a white sparkly shade

Very pleased with my MAC loot and cannot wait to splurge on makeup again next month!
