I need some help guys! I need a new flat iron BADLY BUT I also tend to curl my hair with it as well as straighten it so I thought I would ask all you lovelies your opinions on which ones are the best. Please keep in mind that I'm looking at the lower end of the spectrum of pricing, simply because I've spent the $130 on a straightner that everyone said was the best & the dang thing "flattened" my hair, but did NOTHING for straightening it! lol Thanks sweeties!
I got my straightener from TJMaxx (cheap, I know.) I was DYING for a new one and I thought I'd buy this one as a part time thing, because my Chi had broke. It was called the Farenheit. I have thick, long, black hair, so if it can make my hair look good, it's bound to work on yours! I got mine for $30, and it came with a ministraightener and a clip.
i went to Sally Beauty and got and got "their version" of the Chi. it looks the same, heats to the same degrees and costs like half the price. i love it, it curls straightens, flips, the whole nine yards. i think its usually around $60 or so, and it was on sale when i got it so i paid about $50. i just looked online and its actually onsale now! i think you can purchase it online. i'm not sure :P (and it came in different colors too)
I have the same iron Robyn has and I SWEAR by it. I got mine about a month ago on sale (they're usually on sale) for $50 and they threw in a mini straightener for free :) If you like to get EXACT temps, I'd go for the digital one-but I have the analog and it works just fine for me.
