I want to change up my hair but I'm not sure if I want to commit to color. I loved red but it's so difficult to maintain and ends up hideously brassy when letting it grow out! Other than that not sure what would look good.
You can always try a new cut, maybe get layers put in or something like that if you don't want anything major. Or try extensions if you want longer hair instead of shorter. Or if you don't want a new color all over, maybe try highlights or low lights, or something a little more daring like dying your tips or some peekaboo highlights in a crazy color. :)
Try a darker red. they tend to have more of a purple base, but they wont fade as brassy as lighter reds. or, you can keep it dark and put some red highlights under neath your hair, it will lighten it a bit and you wont be able to see the the regrowth as it starts to grow.
if you want to try red, why wouldn't you try henna color? but remember that henna is seriously going to stick in your hair, you will have to grow it out from your hair. Even bleaching won't take it all away. But the good thing is that red henna does not fade like the usual hair colors.
